Every May we have our Installation Banquet, where we name the woman who has been chosen "Sweet Adeline of the Year" by the chorus.
At this year's event, our outgoing Sweet Adeline of the Year Daphne Witmer (right) hands the mic to Page Hesser, our new Sweet Adeline of the Year for 2009 (left).
This special award is presented to the member selected by secret ballot of the Chapter membership who best exemplifies the spirit of fellowship and harmony while promoting the Chapter with service and song, considering her attitude, personality and enthusiasm.
Page leaves many footprints on the sands of the Red Rose City Chorus. She steps into the shoes of Director when needed. She wears the boots of Financial Coordinator on our Management Team. Every rehearsal you will see Page step into the rehearsal hall dragging a cooler of much needed water. She also keeps us on our toes to make sure our Barnstormers fundraiser is staffed, as well as booking all of our performances.
