Aloha Harmony Hawaii Cruise November 9-16, 2008
The Rules (must sign if you wish to attend)
INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION ANNOUNCEMENTS: For those members of our chorus planning to attend the international competition in Hawaii, who would like to sit together, please get me your forms as soon as possible. I need to get our information to Greater Harrisburg early this month. I will be on vacation from 1/5 to 1/11 and our home computer is currently not working. I can access my e-mail from work, so if you can, scan your form as a .pdf file and e-mail it to me. Or you can put it (and your check payable to Red Rose City Chorus) in the mail to me. As an absolute drop dead date I will accept forms/checks at rehearsal on January 14th. Anything later than that I will take (and preferably prior to February before the rates increase), but you will not be able to get seats with our other regional members. Gwenn Trout has graciously agreed to submit our forms for the Coronet Club Concert (bottom of International form). Please also submit them to me via e-mail or mail as soon as possible. Thanks! Sue Carter Events Chair |
| Please email or phone
Olga if you need any chorus song on learning tape or CD. If any
learning material you receive has errors, please let her know immediately.

is on our roster. Pat Stetter is our sheet music librarian. |

Gentle Reminder: If you send items to Liz or Melissa for the Itty Bitty or website announcements, please do not repeat them at practice on Monday nights. The point of the newsletter is to cut back on unnecessary time spent not working on our craft!
Those without e-mail will receive hard copy of the Itty Bitty on Mondays. Those with email will receive virtual copies and can view announcements here.
At last, an international message board!!!! (Click above, join the fun!)
The following members owe $200.00 dues on or before 6/14: Lisa, Carol R., Christine
Don’t forget about your pre-pay envelopes, ladies….especially those who are due in May (you probably know who you are). You might want to consider a payment towards this looming due date.
You are always welcome to mail Dianne at 55 Valleybrook Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601. Thanks very much. Remember, you can always pay quarterly. Speak to Dianne with questions/concerns regarding installments and financial hardship. Paypal is a great way to pay your dues online.
FUNDRAISING
Sonia Vrooman has very generously donated 100 of her CDs to the chorus to sell. 100% of the profit from the sale of the CDs is to go directly into the chorus Angel Fund. If anyone is doing early Christmas Shopping, or has not already purchased one of Sonia’s CDs, now is the time to do it. Not only will you hear her lovely music, but your purchase will directly help a chorus member in need.
SONIA V. Schedule
If you're looking for a great place to eat or just to have a few drinks this Sat. June 21st, consider The Belvedere Inn located at 402 N. Queen St. in LancasterHarry and I will be performing from 7pm till 10pmNice dinner atmosphere with soothing, smooth Jazz selectionsTo get good seating, reservations are requested 394-2422We are also avaliable for private parties. Think of us if you'd like to have a Jazz picnic this summer
Sub sales: Our subs are 9 inch subs made by Darrenkamps. They’re ordered a week ahead of time and delivered the first Monday rehearsal of the month. You can choose American, Italian, Turkey, and Ham. All come with or without onions. On delivery night, you should bring a cooler to transport your subs home with you.
Did you know that you can use your Giant or Weis Scrip card for the purchase of stamps? Did you know that Joyce would be most happy to supply you with either $25, $50, or even $100 in Giant or Weis scrip cards and Dianne can supply $100 for Oregon Dairy. Just call her or email her the amount that you would like and the grocery store of your choice and bring her a check to the next rehearsal and she will give you your card. It's that easy.
For every $100 that you purchase in SCRIP cards, you get to spend the full $100 and Giant or Weis or Oregon Dairy give RED ROSE CITY CHORUS $5 Not bad for just doing your grocery shopping. It works like a debit card and the remaining balance stays on your card to be used at your next grocery shopping trip. (submitted by Olga).
